A Bit About FreeDreamer

FreeDreamer is brand to inspire wellness and encourage self-care.

All my products are designed to help make you feel good — physically, mentally, spiritually — just good.

And hopefully make you smile too.

Nothing more, nothing less.

I hope to encourage you to take some mindful moments for yourself each day, whenever and wherever they are needed.

The FreeDreamer ethos and products are all designed around natural materials and the elements, with a focus on using nature for personal wellness and self-care. All my products are handmade in my home workshop in Dublin using herbs and flowers that are both homegrown, and locally sourced. My packaging and products are also made of sustainable organic materials.

My name's Ashleigh and I am the designer and creatrix behind FreeDreamer.

I have been gathering and drying herbs and flowers for use in my own moon baths for a long time.

But FreeDreamer really began when I started using lavender to make eye pillows for an aunt who

was undergoing chemotherapy. I wanted to give her something that would help relieve some of her stress and

anxiety, and also provide some comfort during the long chemo sessions.

And so, what I now call the "Chill" pillow was born.

Further inspired by my own journey in wellness after leaving an extremely toxic corporate setting, I started to explore aromatherapy, colour psychology, and other holistic methods of self-care. From my own experience, I knew that there were more emotions and energies to address than just the need to de-stress — like the need to balance and ground when our heads are buzzing. Or the need to recharge when we're feeling emotionally, creatively, and energetically drained.

And of course, the need to smile when we're feeling down.

The Mindful Moments collection grew from there and, hopefully, will keep on growing.
